Title Clean Water Act Section 106 Program

Beginning on June 1, 1988, the CWA 106 program is a project aimed to collect deficient water quality data along with a data management system to protect present and future water uses from further degradation. A baseline of data was collected at sixteen designated sites across the Reservation along the seven major drainages. Since that time an additional sixteen sites have been added for three special projects.


Activity 1
Providing technical assistance to other Tribes by hosting a one-day monitoring demonstration on what to do first when preparing to sample for macroinvertebrates.

 


Kicknet Demo - Tribal Mentoring
Demonstrating the proper way to do the kicknet. This method is the two-person method.
